Zoo chief to apologize, will lose month's pay
ROYAL OAK -- Ron Kagan, the longtime director of the Detroit Zoo who came under fire last week for lying on his resume, will retain his $200,000-a-year job but lose one month's pay, get a letter of reprimand in his personnel file and be ordered to make a public apology, the chairman of the Detroit Zoological Society announced
