Jury is out on whether video resumes are effective
Dear Joyce: In my job search support group, a controversial issue has come up about the value of video resumes. The buzz started after a Yale student's widely ridiculed six-minute video paired with an 11-page resume was sent to an investment bank. Because it was so over the top, the submission was later leaked to other investment banks, eventually winding up on YouTube.
