Balance of skills needed to get the job you want
Question: You have said before that it's things like big-picture thinking, generalist skills and soft skills that are so important to move your career along. I'm finding just the opposite. In my experience it seems that employers are always looking for something very specific. The positions I apply for I know I can do without any problem.
