Chief accused of lying on application, resume
FOSTORIA - A grand jury has accused the city's police chief of lying on his job application and resume, but the chief's attorney said Friday that his client will plead not guilty. John McGuire, 37, who was hired as chief of this northwest Ohio city in February, was indicted Thursday on charges of tampering with records and falsification. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
